Coronavirus Latest

Obviously it is a very difficult time at the moment for all of us.

As far as we know everyone in our community is well and although out fitness may be suffering and to some extent our well-being no one had told us of any Covid 19 sickness. Keep safe. Keep well.

Those who have had a stroke are in an at risk group under the government’s health advice. For this reason ALL Torbay Stroke Support activities are on hold whilst the current health crisis is ongoing.

However ALL our contact links are operating and we able to respond to any questions and enquiries. The Torbay Community Development Group is proving an invaluable resource and we would encourage you to access it if in need.

NEW SERVICES….coming as soon as possible after the current Coronavirus epidemic subsides.

We are starting a new service Newton Abbot library on Thursdays at 2pm. This will be a hub for survivors, carers and those at risk. Each session is an opportunity to share experiences. There is an educational element to these groups and various speakers will attend from time to time. Sessions are FREE. Access is excellent.
